Prior to CNN, Martinez produced for ABC News' "Good Morning America" where she conducted interviews, produced, wrote, shot and edited stories for the network morning broadcast. While at ABC News, she also worked for the hidden camera show, "What Would You Do?" and the investigative series, "20/20," covering Diane Sawyer's "Jaycee Dugard" and "Jacqueline Kennedy" exclusives.

Recent opportunities also include filing on-air and dotcom stories as Bureau Chief and on-air reporter for Syracuse University's "ABC News On Campus" bureau.

Martinez is a former member of the Asian American Journalists Association. She was nominated for a 2012-2013 Emmy along with the rest of the “Good Morning America” team for “Outstanding Morning Program.” She also placed first in the national "Hearst TV Feature Reporting" competition and the Syracuse Press Club College TV News competition.
