Karima ZmerliHead of Data Sciences, North America at WaveMaker Global

Karima Zmerli runs Wavemaker’s vibrant Data Sciences team and drives their vision, products and services. Some of the best innovations created in this space have been Momentum, Consumer Pulse, Precision Path® and Socialytics. Their work has positioned us as industry leaders and forward thinkers.     

Before joining Wavemaker, Karima was the VP of Audience Management and Digital Data Strategy at Merkle. She built the DMP Solution practice-working with clients to define audience management strategies and partner with marketing cloud providers such as Adobe, Oracle and Salesforce to define data strategy and integrations. Prior to Merkle, Karima spent several years at Razorfish as well as Digitas.

Karima has several years experience working with Campbells, L’Oréal, Nespresso, Kraft, Gerber (GerberLife), Kimberly Clark (Huggies and Poise), Vita Coco, and Bose just to name a few. She also supported Target shopper marketing programs for brands like P&G and General Mills.

A seasoned leader, Karima has expertise in CRM, digital analytics, market mix modeling, and DMPs. She is adamantly committed to developing a new generation of data and digital leaders that understand the full breadth of the ecosystem. She holds multiple advanced degrees in marketing including a PHD.

Jeremy Crandall: Senior Vice President, Data Science, at VM-1 a Zenith Agency

Jeremy Crandall is SVP, Data Sciences at VM-1, a Zenith agency dedicated to managing holistic media planning and buying for one client: Verizon. Prior to this, she had a 20 year career in data, spanning tech startups, software vendors, financial services providers, ad tech, media companies and now her first agency role. As one of the first traders at MediaMath, Jeremy helped to pioneer programmatic digital trading practices and later ran their internal trading desk. Jeremy specializes in understanding and articulating the best applications of data to solve business challenges. She is one of the few people in the advertising industry (so far) to obtain a deep digital pedigree and then move to linear TV. She helped NBCUniversal reboot their Audience Targeting Platform (ATP) and drive its revenues and performance to new heights. Her career passion is helping to drive forward the convergence of digital and TV, helping to make TV more targetable, more measurable and more accountable.


Alysia Borsa: Chief Marketing and Data Officer, Meredith Corporation   

Alysia Borsa is the Chief Marketing and Data Officer at Meredith Corporation, where she leads corporate marketing strategy, integrated marketing communications, first-party data strategy and management, and consumer- and advertiser-focused insights and analytics across all of Meredith’s national media channels. Borsa joined Meredith Digital in 2011, in a new role responsible for setting strategic direction and execution of key initiatives that differentiate and fully leverage the company’s broad assets in the mobile and consumer data marketplace.  

Prior to joining Meredith, Borsa was a management consultant at Accenture, product marketing lead at Comcast and product and business development executive at Nokia. Borsa is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University where she earned a Bachelor of Business degree. She also earned an MBA from the University of Western Ontario in Canada.

Borsa resides in Manhattan with her family and is based in Meredith’s offices in New York City.


 Hollis Nymark: MS Data Science Candidate at New York University

Hollis Nymark is currently pursing a masters degree in Data Science at NYU.  Before starting graduate school full-time last fall, Hollis worked in various analytics roles in marketing and advertising.  Most recently she was an Associate Director at Zenith on the VM1 analytics team, where she managed a team of analysts.  In addition to managing the day-to-day, she also worked on several technical integrations in order to improve effectiveness and efficiency in overall data management and tracking.  Hollis is a native New Yorker and attended Boston College where she earned a BS in Mathematics.
